AMA Boosters swim team
The new Bret Harte Aquatic Center will soon be the home of a
combined summer recreation league and USA-sponsored team for
swimmers on the Ebbetts Pass corridor and region surrounding Angels

Foothills Little League signups
Foothills Little League registration dates for the 2012 season will
be held Saturday, Jan. 7, from noon to 2 pm; and Wednesday, Jan.
11, from 6 to 8 pm All registration dates will be held at Pizza

Calaveras American Little League
registration
Calaveras American Little League is holding registration for the
2012 season Jan. 7 from 10 am to noon at Copperopolis Elementary
gym and Mark Twain Elementary multipurpose rooms. Registration
forms are available at calaverasamericanlittleleague.com. All
registrations received by Dec. 31 receive a $10 discount off

Valley Springs Softball League signups
Registration for the Valley Springs Softball League will be held
Jan. 19 from 6 to 8 pm at Valley Springs Pizza Factory.
Registration fees are $75 per player. Registration and skills
clinics will be held Feb. 4, 11, 18, 25, and March 3 from 1 to 3
pm with pitching clinics from 3 to 4 pm at the Valley Springs

Hunter safety class
A one-day course in hunter safety will be held Sunday, Jan. 29, at
the Senior Center in San Andreas. Class starts at 8 am and goes
to 4:30 pm Those wishing to take the class must register in
advance. A $10 donation is asked to cover cost of materials. For

Back 2 Basics Baseball Club
Back 2 Basics Baseball is a nonprofit organization in the area
putting together traveling teams for the 10U-14U ages of all skill
levels. The tournaments are a great experience for the kids and
will open their eyes to a new level of baseball. Tournament go
year-round, but we will not be playing until after the first of the
year to give time for tryouts and getting teams together.
Fundraisers will be held to offset costs and practices will be held
in Valley Springs. For more information or if you’re interested in
